NBA Makes Unprecedented Move Regarding Wembanyama
The NBA will stream every game Victor Wembanyama — the projected No. 1 pick in 2023 — plays in during the 2022-23 season on the new NBA App. It will debut on Oct. 29 when his team, the Metropolitans 92, play JL Bourg Basket at 2 p.m. ET.

Of course, the fact that Commissioner Adam Silver has already warned NBA teams across the league not to tank to try to win the Wembanyama lottery this year is not lost on many fans who now see the NBA promoting the French wunderkind.
Adam Silver: DON'T TANK FOR WEMBANYAMA! WE'LL RELEGATE YOU TO THE G-LEAGUE!

Also Adam Silver:
We're gonna stream every single Wembanyama game so you can see this generational talent you should definitely not tank for
Naturally, with all the attention on the 7'4" 19-year-old phenom, the NBA wants to capitalize and try to earn more subscribers for their app and League Pass. But any opportunity to watch this once-in-a-lifetime talent should be taken.
Wembanyama is the most anticipated draft prospect since LeBron James 20 years ago. With the ability to block shots with ease, run the floor, pass, dribble, and step back and hit threes, he possesses an unparalleled set of skills never before seen in a player of that height.
The first Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 game from the French LNB Betclic ELITE league is being streamed on Saturday at 2pm Eastern.
