Herro was the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year last season, averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists, while draining threes at a 39.9% clip.
After watching some of the money being handed out to others in his 2019 draft class, Herro said last week that “there’s players across the league that have gotten paid who I know I’m better than. So it’s got to be the right number.”
The 22-year-old was the 13th overall pick in that 2019 Draft, and he recently watching the No. 3 pick RJ Barrett sign a 4-year, $107M deal with the New York Knicks. If that's the player who he felt he was "better than," he accomplished his goal.
