"I Promise You It's Coming": Warriors Guard Makes Bold Claim Amid Struggles
Following another poor shooting night, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson made a bold claim on his Instagram stories. Thompson shared a video of himself knocking down a three-pointer during the Warriors' 122-115 loss to the Sacramento Kings with the caption: "My belief is stronger than your doubt. I PROMISE you it's coming. And when it does, the flood gates will open."

Thompson finished with 17 points but shot just 6-of-16 from the field as Golden State moved to 5-8 on the season. The Warriors are 0-7 on the road.
The career 41.5 percent three-point shooter is struggling mightily with his shot to start the season. He is shooting a career-low 35.1 percent from the field and 33.0 percent from three.
Thompson continues to make his way back from a 941-day absence after suffering back-to-back major leg injuries in 2019 and 2020.
The 32-year-old returned last season and tallied averages of 20.4 points in 32 games. In the 2022 playoffs, he averaged 19.0 points on 42.9 percent field goal shooting and 38.5 percent three-point shooting as the Warriors won their first NBA Championship in four years.
