Kemba Walker Offers Advice to Celtics Stars
Walker says he stressed to Brown and Tatum the importance of chemistry and friendship, to avoid letting trade talks affect their play and show the organization that they could succeed as a duo. In his words: “I always told them, this organization isn’t going nowhere without you two, literally. My main thing to those guys was that they have to love each other. Jayson and Jaylen, you two guys have to come together as much as you can and lead this team to the promised land. They can’t go anywhere without those two guys.”Kemba Walker on the Woj Pod: “Boston was special, man. I had a great time, to be honest. I had a great, great time. Walker is currently a free agent, having been waived by the New York Knicks after an unsuccessful stint last season. For teams in search of experienced leaders and bench scoring, he will certainly top the list of names to call.
