Raptors Get Bad Injury News On Pascal Siakam
The Toronto Raptors had been on a tear, winning three of their previous four games by 10 points, then 30 points, then 43 points. That came to an end on Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks, after Pascal Siakam slipped on a wet spot on the floor and suffered a groin strain. He'll miss at least eight games.
Raptors say Pascal Siakam has been diagnosed with a right adductor muscle strain and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Officially diagnosed as a right adductor muscle strain, Toronto's leading scorer and Kia MVP Ladder Top 10 MVP candidate will now miss the next two weeks—8 games—a brutal blow for the Raptors. He'll be re-evaluated at that time.
'Spicy P' has been averaging nearly 25 points (24.8), 9.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists and will be sorely missed by Nick Nurse and Co.
The Raptors have also been without All-Star Fred VanVleet the past three games with lower-back issues, but his imminent return would help replace some of the scoring. Rookie Christian Koloko, who is off to a nice start to his career after being selected 33rd overall in the June NBA Draft, will slot into the starting lineup for the time being while Siakam is out. Ironically, Koloko is from the same small hometown in Cameroon as Siakam (Douala).
