Spurs Sued As Details Emerging On Josh Primo
More details are continuing to emerge on the Josh Primo situation and it's getting messier by the moment. NBA Insider Shams Charania reports that former San Antonio Spurs psychologist Hillary Cauthen has sued the Spurs and filed a criminal complaint.
Former Spurs psychologist Hillary Cauthen has sued the Spurs and Josh Primo and is filing a criminal complaint over alleged incidents involving indecent exposure by Primo, alleging Primo exposed himself nine times to her beginning in December 2021 and the franchise failed to act.

Cauthen alleges that Primo exposed himself nine times to her beginning in December 2021 and the franchise failed to act. No, that's not a typo: 9 times. But moments after that report went public, Primo's attorney has shot back, denying the claims and calling the psychologist's allegations "either a complete fabrication, a gross embellishment or utter fantasy."

"Dr. Cauthen's allegations are either a complete fabrication, a gross embellishment or utter fantasy," says attorney William J. Briggs II. "Josh Primo never intentionally exposed himself to her or anyone else and was not even aware that his private parts were visible outside of his workout shorts.
"What makes the allegations even less credible is that Dr. Cauthen never informed her patient of the purported exposure. Dr. Cauthen was Mr. Primo's mental health support provider and confidant; a therapist who Mr. Primo trusted."
The Spurs waived Primo suddenly last week, just a couple of weeks after picking up his contract option for next season. It was later revealed that it was due to allegations of him exposing himself on multiple occasions. He had responded saying he's been getting mental health help in dealing with "previous trauma."
This latest NBA drama isn't going away anytime soon.
