Detroit Pistons Planning to Hold Onto Veteran Forward
Detroit Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic has been getting a lot of buzz in the rumor mill. Yet, things are now changing on that front. According to Marc Stein, the Pistons have informed teams around the league that they plan on keeping Bogdanovic.
This is a little bit surprising to hear, as the Pistons currently have an 8-24 record and are expected to be major sellers at the deadline. However, he also has a two-year extension that starts next season, so perhaps the Pistons are confident that things will improve later down the road.
Bogdanovic has had a very good season for the Pistons this season. In 31 games thus far, he has averaged 21.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest. Overall, it is clear that his trade value has increased, so let's see if the Pistons end up changing their mind once we get closer to the deadline.
