He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
He was averaging 11.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in 8 appearances with the Mad Ants.
Brown will be reevaluated in two weeks.
It's only been within the last few weeks that Brown has had his first taste of the NBA, having gotten into six games, but averaging under seven minutes per contest.
In his first true shot at some run, in a game on Dec. 5th, he got into 18 minutes, hauled in five rebounds and impressed head coach Rick Carlisle. "He played great minutes. I mean, he was great on defense, his running of the floor opened things up in transition, (and) he got some big rebounds."
Down in the G League, with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Brown was averaging 11.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
The 6'8" shooting guard out of Baylor was the 48th pick overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2022 NBA Draft, and traded thereafter to Indiana. He's signed to a two-way contract. The Pacers feel he can develop into a rotation player for them, so hopefully this doesn't keep him out for too long.
