The 5'11' point guard joins SLUC Nancy Basket in the French league, where he'll be counted on to "bring us creativity in the offensive game and also his ability to score," according to the team's manager, Laurent Eisenbach. "His quality of percussion, speed and shooting will allow us to speed up our game and set up our defense", said Nancy’s head coach Sylvain Lautie.
Mason has played in 103 career games in the NBA, with the Kings, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic. He sports career averages of 6.7 points per game, 2.6 assists, and 2.0 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per contest.
In the G League in 2019-20 with the Bucks' affiliate Wisconsin Herd, Mason lit it up to the tune of 25.3 points, 4.8 assists, and 42.8% shooting from long range to take home MVP honors.
