Parker played five seasons in the NBA. He finished with career averages of 9.0 points and 2.9 assists across 274 career games.
The 6-foot-4 guard had his best years with the Lakers. He played two full seasons and started in all but two games with the Purple and Gold franchise from 2005-06 to 2006-07. In those two campaigns, Parker averaged 11.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
Parker currently serves as a referee in The Basketball League, a minor league in the United States that was founded in 2017.
As Parker mentioned, there have only been three other former NBA players to make the transition to becoming a referee.
Among the three, only Wood remains the active official.
