Dedmon was suspended for one game by the Heat, and will lose about $32,000 in pay for the missed game. The only good news for Dedmon? With "no double-jeopardy" rule, Dedmon now cannot also be sanctioned by NBA. So no NBA suspension or penalty, just the one from the Heat. https://t.co/7z9myc2FuK

It's called the "no double-jeopardy" rule.
The incident occurred after Dedmon had an on-court argument with head coach Erik Spoelstra and assistant Caron Butler:
Dedmon has fallen out of the rotation and is averaging 5.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11.7 minutes/game.
