Dozier spent four seasons with the Nuggets and had somewhat established himself as a rotation piece as of the 2020-21 campaign. During that season, where he appeared in 50 games, the 6-foot-6 guard averaged 21.8 minutes and put up 7.7 and 3.6 rebounds.
He averaged nearly 19 minutes per game during the 2021-22 season but played just 18 games before tearing his left ACL in November 2021.
Dozier was later traded to the Boston Celtics in a multi-team deal involving the Boston Celtics and the San Antonio Spurs.
He was then signed by the Minnesota Timberwolves in September 2022 and suited up for Minnesota's G-League affiliate Iowa Wolves, where he averaged 14.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in 13 games.
The Kings are currently in the midst of their best season since 2005-06 and sit at 5th in the Western Conference with a 20-18 record.
