Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokoumpo Dominates in Win Over Washington Wizards
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokoumpo played perhaps the best game of his incredible career on Tuesday night. The two-time MVP scored a career-high 55 points in a 123-113 win over the Washington Wizards.
Antetokoumpo was efficient at a high volume, hitting 20 of his 33 field goal attempts while adding 10 rebounds and seven assists. His 143 points over his past three games are a franchise record, which is really saying something since Kareem Abdul-Jabar averaged 30.4 points per game for the team from 1969 to 1975.Giannis’ 143 points in the last 3 games is a Bucks franchise record passing Flynn Robinson’s 129 points from 1969.

Antetokoumpo's hot streak should put him back square in the middle of the MVP conversation. His 32.8 points per game are third in the association behind Luka Doncic (34.3) and Joel Embiid (33.5), and his 11.8 rebounds are fourth behind Domanta Sabonis (12.4), Anthony Davis (12.1), and Clint Capela(11.9). At 24-13, Antetokoumpo's Bucks rank third in the Eastern Conference standings.
Antetokoumpo's Bucks face the Toronto Raptors later tonight.
