NBA Rumors: Clippers "Swatting Away" Trade Interest For One Player
The Los Angeles Clippers are looking for help at backup center, and help at point guard. They are very engaged in trade talks around the league. But according to reports, one player they have no interest in using as trade bait is Terance Mann.
While the Clippers continue to explore their trade options for upgrades in both the frontcourt and the backcourt, league sources say that they likewise continue to swat away external interest in Terance Mann.

Stein's report is corroborated by Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer as well, who writes, "it’s not surprising that teams would want him. Mann has established himself as a solid rotation wing, but he’s still only 26 and in the last year of his rookie deal before a two-year, $22 million extension kicks in next season."
The front office is not likely to part with Terance Mann, and there is belief that Mann could be the team’s starting point guard beyond this season, per @LawMurrayTheNU. pic.twitter.com/thxmqZhbts

But, as the old saying goes, you have to give something to get something. With their draft stock exhausted from the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George trades, the Clippers' other trade pieces are likely limited to the likes of Luke Kennard, Robert Covington and Brandon Boston.
Mann moved into the starting lineup at the point at the beginning of January, and has averaged 12 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in that stretch, while shooting 41.9% from long distance. He has been the Clippers' spark plug.
