NBA Rumors: Knicks & Bucks Talking Trade Around Super-Pest Guard

The New York Knicks continue to be active in trade talks in a number of areas, as we're now learning that they've been been in discussions with the Milwaukee Bucks about a deal surrounding arguably the most hated player in the league, Grayson Allen.

Michael Scotto of HoopsHype has this nugget for us:

The Knicks have expressed interest in Bucks starter Grayson Allen, a career 39.5 percent three-point shooter, league sources told HoopsHype.

Allen’s name has come up in several trade discussions around the league, including several three-team trade concepts where Suns forward Jae Crowder or Rockets guard Eric Gordon would end up in Milwaukee.

Clearly, the Knicks are not alone in the Allen discussions. But Scotto also notes that the two teams have also talked trade in regards to other deals involving the Knicks' very available Cam Reddish.

Scotto does suggest that the 3-team talks involving the Suns and Rockets could be further along, with regards to the Bucks' feisty sharpshooter.

Allen has been flagged by players and observers around the NBA for years for his dirty play, even going back to his days at Duke University. It was exactly a year ago that Allen directed a dangerous mid-air hit on the Chicago Bulls' Alex Caruso that ended in a broken wrist for the Bulls' guard and many months out of the lineup.

The latest incident, earlier this month, involved another play that angered the Bulls — and their broadcast crew!

He's currently averaging 10.7 points and 40.2% from three-point range.
