NBA Rumors: Suns Among Several Teams With Interest In Hornets Forward
Charlotte Hornets forward Jalen McDaniels has garnered interest among several teams around the NBA, with the Phoenix Suns emerging as a potential suitor for the 6-foot-9 wing, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported.
“Sources tell me that the Suns have emerged as a team with interest in (Jalen) McDaniels, among several others in recent weeks.”

McDaniels is in the midst of a career year in his fourth season with the Hornets, posting averages of 10.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in nearly 27 minutes per game.
The 24-year-old has become a solid two-way role player with his ability to defend and provide some scoring punch.
As Charania mentioned, the Suns could use veteran forward Jae Crowder in a package deal to acquire McDaniels and add some much-needed wing reinforcements, especially with Cameron Johnson also out for a lengthy period of time.
The Suns have been in a rough patch as of late and are losers of six straight games.
They have been hampered by injuries throughout the season. Star guard Devin Booker has been sidelined with a groin injury since December 27 and was slated with a four-week recovery timeline.
