New Orleans Pelicans' Brandon Ingram to Miss Friday's Game Against Orlando Magic
The New Orleans Pelicans will be without their All Star forward yet again for Friday's game against the Orlando Magic. Brandon Ingram will miss his 31st game of the season with a left big toe contusion.
Ingram is averaging 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game in his limited appearances this season. He has been inactive for 25 straight games, last appearing in a November 25th, 2022 132-111 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.Naji Marshall (right great toe soreness) and Herb Jones (lower back contusion) are both listed as questionable for tomorrow's game in Orlando.

Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson are out.
Despite Ingram's lack of availability, the Pelicans are 26-19 this season and fourth in the Western Conference. CJ McCollum has been a steady, reliable presence at guard, averaging 21.3 points per game over 40 appearances. Zion Williamson has also been dominant when available, scoring 26.0 points per game with an exceptional .608 field goal percentage in 29 starts.
It remains unclear when Ingram will return. Whenever he eventually reunites with Williamson and McCollum, the Pelicans will have a chance to gel into a legitimate contender in the Western Conference.
