What Are LeBron's Feelings On The Lakers After Controversial Comments?
LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all time. He also just turned 38 years old, and his Los Angeles Lakers stand at a disappointing 19-22. With time running out on his illustrious career, LeBron began to express some impatience in his recent dealings with the media, where he sounded frustrated with the Laker’s lack of moves to improve the team ahead of the trade deadline. Fans took note of the sudden bursts of emotion, and rumors of a divorce between the Lakers and the player began to escalate. Now, though, it seems like LeBron is more committed to the team than his comments made it sound. According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, it still remains more likely than not that James spends the rest of his career with the Lakers.
On his Lowe Post podcast, Lowe offered the following interpretation of James’ comments:LeBron responds to The Athletic’s report of him being frustrated with the Lakers front office 👀🍿 pic.twitter.com/O1km9F4DRR

“His comments… should be interpreted as his patience is not infinite and if this is just a continued morass of losing, maybe that changes. But if you force me to bet, I’d still bet on him finishing his career with the Lakers. And I’d feel pretty confident in that.”
Despite the poor overall record, the Lakers have won five of their last six games and, with the uber-talented but ephemeral Anthony Davis soon to return from injury, it would be foolish to count the squad out entirely. The front office is clearly worried about sacrificing the few draft picks it has left in its possession for a middling team that may not compete, which is why they haven’t swung any deals yet. If that pattern continues, though, it may just be enough to have LeBron looking elsewhere for his final NBA destination.Would LeBron ever leave the Lakers?
