3 Potential Landing Spots For Russell Westbrook
Now that the dust is clearing from the Los Angeles Lakers blockbuster trade, one has to wonder about Russell Westbrook's future. He was shipped to the Utah Jazz as part of the deal, but his odds of actually putting on a Jazz uniform? Here's ESPN's Brian Windhorst:
The chances are absolutely zero that Russ plays even a minute for the Jazz. He will be bought out by Utah, and then the chase will be on for teams who actually think Westbrook can help them down the stretch.
Windhorst, and others, have suggested that one potential destination would be one where he could just wheel his belongings down the hall at Crypto.com Arena.

Going to the Clippers, of course, would be a very dangerous outcome for the Lakers, if Westbrook was to find success there and help take the Clippers further than the Purple & Gold into the postseason.
If the Clippers aren't the place for Russ, then he could consider an Eastern Conference contender, where rumors have him linked to the Miami Heat as well.

With Kyle Lowry slowing down, and beset by injuries, the Heat are looking for some help in the backcourt. But will Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra believe that Westbrook could help contribute to winning?
We should know Westbrook's next destination soon enough.
