Simmons has appeared in 37 of a possible 50 games this season after missing all of 2021-22 with some combination of a back injury and a holdout. He has yet to re-establish himself as the scoring/playmaking threat that made him an All Star: he's averaging 7.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game.
Following Wednesday's matchup with the Celtics, the Nets host the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
