Dallas Mavericks Rule Out Luka Doncic for Monday's Matchup With Utah Jazz
The Dallas Mavericks will be without their superstar for at least one more game. Head coach Jason Kidd informed reporters Saturday night that Luka Doncic will not travel with the team to face the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

Doncic suffered a right heel contusion on Thursday in the Mavericks' 111-106 win over the New Orleans Pelicans and missed Saturday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He also recently injured his right ankle in a January 26th 99-95 win over the Phoenix Suns, missing one game.
Doncic is the center of the entire Mavericks universe and their leader in every sense of the word; he ranks first on the team in points per game (33.4), rebounds per game (8.9), and assists per game (8.2). The four-time All Star has missed seven games this season, and the Mavericks have lost all seven. The success of the Mavs season will depend entirely on his healthy return and his continued excellence. They entered tonight's game against the Warriors with a 28-25 record that ranked fourth in the Western Conference.
Doncic's next chance to see the court will be a Wednesday night matchup in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
