Golden State Warriors' Andrew Wiggins to Miss Tuesday's Game Against Los Angeles Clippers
The Golden State Warriors will be short another star for their Tuesday night showdown against the Los Angeles Clippers. Per TNT's Chris Haynes, Andrew Wiggins will sit out tonight's matchup due to personal reasons.
Wiggins has missed 20 of a possible 57 games this season but appeared in eight straight before tonight's matchup. The Warriors remain without their leader and superstar Stephen Curry, who has been unavailable since injuring his left leg in a February 4th win over the Dallas Mavericks.Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins will be out tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers on @NBAonTNT due to personal reasons.

When available, Wiggins has maintained the calibre of play that made him a surprise All Star in 2021-22, but his absences and the overall struggles of the team have left the Warriors in a tight spot approaching the closing stretch of the season. At 29-28, the Warriors sit ninth in the Western Conference standings, and Curry isn't expected back until after the All Star break. If the Warriors can't at least claw their way out of the play-in tournament, they'll struggle mightily to defend their 2021-22 NBA championship.
The Warriors will remain in Los Angeles after tonight's game to face the Lakers on Thursday night.
