Golden State Warriors' Andrew Wiggins to Miss Thursday's Game Against Los Angeles Lakers
The Golden State Warriors will be without another one of their stars for Thursday's return from the All-Star break. Per the NBA Injury Report, Andrew Wiggins will miss tonight's game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to personal reasons.

Wiggins missed the Warriors' final game before the All-Star break, a 134-124 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on February 14th. He has missed 21 of a possible 58 games this season but has otherwise maintained the level of play that made him an All-Star in 2021-22. He's averaging 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game with a respectable .564 true shooting percentage this season.
Between Wiggins' missed time and the continued unavailability of Stephen Curry (20 missed games), the Warriors have had an underwhelming follow-up to their 2021-22 NBA championship-winning season. They're 29-29 and ninth in the Western Conference, but they still have time to right the ship. The sixth-seeded Dallas Mavericks are 31-29, so a single hot streak could be enough to lift the Warriors out of the play-in tournament. Whether that's enough to contend with the Denver Nuggets and the other potential juggernauts assembled at the trade deadline in the Western Conference remains to be seen.
Wiggins' next chance to see the court will be against the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
