Miami Heat Sign Guard To Contract
The Miami Heat backcourt has been riddled with injury problems, so today they've made a move to bring in a young depth piece.
The Miami Heat are signing guard Jamaree Bouyea to a 10-day contract out of their NBA G League Sioux Falls affiliate, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Bouyea is averaging 19 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds for Sioux Falls this season.

The Heat have signed 6'2" point guard Jamaree Bouyea to a 10-day contract.
Kyle Lowry has been hampered by a knee injury that will keep him on the sidelines for at least another three games, while Victor Oladipo is day-to-day with an ankle problem, so Bouyea provides a little backcourt insurance for the next week and a half.
The 23-year-old had been having a nice season with the Heat's G League affiliate in Sioux Falls, averaging 19.5 points, 5.9 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 15 regular season games.
Bouyea isn't unfamiliar to the Heat; he played for their Summer League team in Las Vegas last summer, and then signed an Exhibit 10 deal so that the Heat could retain his services at Sioux Falls.
