NBA Rumors: 10 Teams Trying To Secure Sixers' Guard At Deadline

Even the Philadelphia 76ers must be surprised by the multitude of teams ringing their phones. Now that Philly has decided to make perimeter defensive whiz Matisse Thybulle available for trade, no less than TEN teams have been linked to having interest.

It's quite likely Thybulle will be playing his last game with the Sixers Wednesday night—if he makes it that far. According to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the 4th-year shooting guard will be moved by Thursday's 3pm ET deadline.

The list of suitors is long and varied. Per Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype, here are the interested parties:

  • Atlanta Hawks
  • Sacramento Kings
  • Golden State Warriors
  • Indiana Pacers
  • Portland Trail Blazers
  • Milwaukee Bucks
  • Dallas Mavericks
  • Charlotte Hornets
  • Toronto Raptors
  • Phoenix Suns
Pretty much all of the above could use a defensive boost on the perimeter, something the Sixers guard can certainly provide.

But while his defense continues to be elite, his offense is at an all-time low, averaging just 2.6 points in a career-low 12 minutes per game as he's fallen out of favor with Sixers coach Doc Rivers.

Thybulle is a restricted free agent this offseason, and per Scotto, is eligible for a $6.28 million qualifying offer.
