NBA Rumors: Lakers, Jazz & Timberwolves Closing In On 3-Team Blockbuster

The Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz have been tied together in discussions as we head up to the trade deadline, but now a new wrinkle enters the mix, as the Minnesota Timberwolves join the talks, and a 3-team blockbuster could be in the making.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, D'Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley would head to LA, where Russell began his career (and had a controversial run), while Russell Westbrook would be shipped to Utah along with draft picks, and veteran point guard Mike Conley Jr. would wind up in Minnesota.

Jarred Vanderbilt's name has also entered into the mix in some iterations of this potential deal.

Russell is on an expiring contract and will hit free agency in the offseason. It would be a nice add for the Lakers' backcourt. He's averaging 17.9 points and 6.2 assists, while shooting 39% from distance.

Conley, the 16-year veteran, would add some nice leadership to the T-Wolves, while Danny Ainge would get more draft picks in Utah.

Westbrook would be bought out by the Jazz.

This seems to be getting close, we'll keep you updated.
