NBA Rumors: Warriors Discussing Big Trade With Pistons
The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of giving up on their No. 2 overall pick from the 2020 Draft, discussing a deal that would send James Wiseman to the Detroit Pistons.
Golden State and Detroit are in conversations to trade Saddiq Bey, league sources told @YahooSports. The Warriors have shown an increased willingness to move James Wiseman before this afternoon's trade deadline, and the Pistons hold an interest in the former No. 2 pick.

The Dubs are looking at getting back Saddiq Bey, the Pistons' 3rd-year small forward.
Bey had been considered one of the core pieces in the Pistons' rebuild last season, when he averaged 16.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists. All of those numbers are down a bit this year, and it seems a bit of the tarnish is off, leading to him becoming available.
The Pistons have shown interest in Wiseman in the past. He missed the entire 2021-22 season due to injury, and has not been able to crack the rotation with any meaningful minutes for Warriors coach Steve Kerr this season. He's averaging 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes.
Updated rumors have the Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs also in discussions with the Dubs over Wiseman.
