The Los Angeles Clippers were looking to add a backup big at this deadline, and they've done so, completing a trade with the Charlotte Hornets for 10-year veteran Mason Plumlee.

Reggie Jackson is headed to Charlotte in return, as the Clippers are looking to completely remake their backcourt. John Wall was earlier sent back to Houston in another trade.
Jackson began the season as the Clippers' starting point guard, but eventually fell out of favor and saw his minutes significantly reduced.
It was a rough final season for Reggie Jackson in LA, but the Clippers don’t make their first Western Conference Finals in 2021 without him.

Plumlee is averaging 12.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the best season of his career; Jackson is averaging 10.9 points and 3.5 assists, both numbers down significantly from last season.
