The NBA has launched a review, and according to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors are "working with the NBA" to try to salvage the deal, while still filing the complaint.
ESPN Sources: The Golden State Warriors are working with the NBA on a way to complete the four-team trade and still preserve their rights to pursue recourse on how Gary Payton II’s medical information was shared to them at the time of the deal.

The other players involved were former Warriors' No. 2 overall draft pick James Wiseman, who went to Detroit, Saddiq Bey who went from Detroit to the Atlanta Hawks and Kevin Knox II who went to Portland along with five second-round picks. Payton is expect to be out for three months due to the recurring injury.
The Warriors have a deadline of 9:30 pm Eastern time today to decide whether to keep Payton or rescind the entire deal, in which case all players would have to return to their original teams.
