Brooklyn Nets Star 'Likely Done For The Year'

The Brooklyn Nets franchise have been an incredibly wild ride over the past few seasons, and unfortunately, that means some of their biggest moves haven't paid off, with the biggest example being the acquisition of Ben Simmons from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Unfortunately, his tenure just hasn't worked out in Brooklyn thus far, but with so many years and so much money wrapped up in him, the team will need to get him going again for the future, and unfortunately, it appears that he's now done for the remainder of the year.

Once upon a time, Simmons was one of the fastest rising stars in the NBA, but through a loss of confidence and several injuries, he hasn't been the same for quite some time, so the Nets will be praying that a long break from the game can get him back and ready to go for 2023/24.
