Dallas Mavericks Rule Out Luka Doncic for Monday's Game Against Memphis Grizzlies
The Dallas Mavericks will be without their young superstar for at least one more game. The team officially downgraded Luka Doncic to OUT for tonight's game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a left thigh strain.
Luka Dončić (left thigh strain) and Markieff Morris (left knee soreness) have been downgraded to out for tonight’s game in Memphis.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (non-Covid illness) and Kyrie Irving (right foot soreness) remain questionable.
Tonight will mark Doncic's fifth straight missed game with the injury. He last appeared in a March 8th 113-107 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. He labored for nearly 28 minutes and finished with one of his worst lines of the season, tallying 15 points, three rebounds, and eight assists on four of 14 shooting.
The Mavs have been on a downward trajectory ever since injuries began piling up for Doncic in early February. He has missed eight of 18 games since February 4th, and the Mavs have gone 8-10 over that span.
Doncic remains one of the NBA's truly elite offensive threats; he's averaging 33.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game with a career-high .613 true shooting percentage through 57 appearances this season. The Mavs' playoff hopes rest on him combining with trade deadline acquisition Kyrie Irving to form one of the NBA's deadliest scoring duos. It hasn't manifested so far: the pair have appeared in only nine games together, leading the Mavs to a 3-6 record.
Doncic's next chance to return will be on Wednesday when the Mavericks host the Golden State Warriors.
