Deandre Ayton to Miss Next 2 Games
The Phoenix Suns will be without a major star for their upcoming back-to-back. According to coach Monty Williams, Deandre Ayton will be out through at least the Suns' Saturday matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ayton is also expected to miss tonight's road game against the Sacramento Kings. He has been out with a right hip contusion since a March 16th 116-113 win over the Orlando Magic.
Ayton has averaged a career-high 18.3 points per game over 61 appearances this season while also nabbing 10.1 rebounds per game. His efficiency is slightly down; his .616 true shooting percentage has regressed from .656 in 2021-22 and .653 in 2020-21. However, the Suns have cause for optimism there: Kevin Durant has only played three games for the team since joining the team via a blockbuster trade. His impending return should open things up for Ayton's overpowering inside game.
Ayton's next chance to see the court will be on Monday when the Suns visit the Utah Jazz.
