The 6'11" power forward just came back 11 games ago after a nearly three-year absence due to a torn ACL and a hamstring injury that required surgery.
He had finally made it back to the NBA amidst much fanfare last month, but that dream is over once again for Isaac.
"Our thoughts are with Jonathan, whose fortitude in dealing with adversity is unique," said Orlando Magic President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman. "Jonathan has worked extremely hard to return to the court this season and has demonstrated his impact on our team. We will be by his side as he focuses on the work ahead."
The 25-year-old Isaac had averaged 5.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 11 minutes per game in his 11 contests this season.
