Key Golden State Warrior Set To Return Soon

The Golden State Warriors have struggled to find momentum all season long, but at the right time of year, it appears that they are getting hot, and unless something changes, they're about to get some reinforcements for their title defence.

With wins in their past two games, the Warriors are likely to get Gary Payton II back from injury this weekend, as he could potentially be in the lineup on Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which would be a major boost ahead of a tough stretch of games.

Payton was key on the second unit for the 2022 title run for Golden State, and while he is yet to play a game for them since being acquired from Portland at the deadline, if he can get healthy, he'll once again be a presence for them off the bench.
