Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates
Welcome to BBall Rumors' offseason trade candidate series. During it, we will be discussing three players from each team who could be traded this summer.
In this latest episode, we will be focusing our attention on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Anthony Davis: After another underwhelming season from the Lakers, it could be time for them to make notable changes to their core. Due to this, there have been rumblings that they could listen to offers for Anthony Davis this offseason. Naturally, the Lakers would want a lot back for the star, as moving him would mark a new direction for Los Angeles.
Jarred Vanderbilt: Jarred Vanderbilt is a player who the Lakers picked up before the deadline passed, but now there are already rumblings that the Lakers could be open to moving the power forward. It is clear that they want a high-impact forward, so moving Vanderbilt may be a necessity for that to occur.
Davon Reed: Similar to Vanderbilt, Davon Reed is a newcomer who could already find a new home this offseason. In 40 games this season split between the Denver Nuggers and Los Angeles, he has average 2.2 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. Overall, he could be a decent depth option for another team, so there could be a trade market for him.
