Oklahoma City Thunder Rookie Has High Hopes For Current Team
While the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in rebuild mode for quite some time, it was just 10 years ago that they had the most promising trio of players in the entire NBA, and in 2022/23, it appears that they're building towards that once more.
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey and Chet Holmgren and plenty of draft picks stored away, the future is incredibly bright in OKC, and when asked, Holmgren showed confidence in the players they have, saying that he believes they can reach the heights of KD, Russ and Harden.
That trio had plenty of tough competition in the NBA, resulting in their biggest height being one NBA Finals appearance against a stacked Miami Heat team, and with the West being as wide open as it is right now, it makes sense that they are aiming just as high.Chet Holmgren on if they can reach the heights of KD, Russ and Harden on Thunder:
