Rising New York Knicks Star Has Career Night In Win Over Houston Rockets
The New York Knicks have been building a fantastic group over the past few years, highlighted by Julius Randle, Jalen Brunson and R.J. Barrett, but flying under the radar has been 2023 Sixth Man of the Year candidate Immanuel Quickley.
Quickley was a first-round pick back in 2020, and in his third year, he's taking the step that many Knicks fans had hoped for, and on Monday night, he put up a career high 40 points, while only having 3 missed shots and 1 turnover in a stellar, career making performance.
If the Knicks can stay healthy through the playoffs, they will certainly not be an easy team for anyone to beat given the home court advantage at Madison Square Garden along with their deep, talented roster flowing with chemistry, and if IQ can stay at this level, they're a genuine threat in the East.NEW Career-High for Himmanuel 🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/noHGKXdAoz
