76ers Open Playoffs With Dominant Win Over Nets
The Philadelphia 76ers opened the 2023 NBA Playoffs with a 121-101 win over the Brooklyn Nets to take Game 1 of their best-of-seven series.
James Harden led the way with 23 points, 13 assists, and seven 3-pointers while leading MVP candidate Joel Embiid went 11-of-11 from the freethrow line to tally 26 points and five rebounds.

Tobias Harris also had an efficient outing for the Sixers as he added 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting.
Paul Reed also provided a huge spark off the bench with 11 points in 13 minutes.
Mikal Bridges had an outstanding game in his first game as the top option with 30 points to lead Brooklyn.
The Nets kept in step with the Sixers through the first 24 minuts. But Philadelphia pulled away in the second half.
The Sixers will attempt to go up 2-0 with a win on Monday.
