Breaking: Warriors Make Decision On Andrew Wiggins' Status For Game 1 of Playoffs
He's been away from the team for exactly two months, attending to a family matter. But Andrew Wiggins has been back practicing with the Golden State Warriors this week, and according to the team, he has now been cleared to return to the lineup for Game 1 of the playoffs this weekend.

According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, Wiggins will likely play about 20-to-25 minutes coming off the bench. It'll be his first game action since February 13th.
The timing for Wiggins' return couldn't be better. His importance for the Warriors' chances in these playoffs can't be understated. Last season, he became an All-Star setting a new career high hitting on 39.3% of his threes, while establishing himself as a lock-down defender. And in the Dubs' runs to the title in last year's playoffs, he stepped it yet another notch on all counts. He was indispensable.
Between an adductor injury and two separate illnesses, in addition to the personal matter he's been attending to since February, Wiggins only appeared in 37 games this season, but he still averaged his 17 points, five rebounds, and close to 40% shooting from beyond the arc (39.8%).
