Headbutt Earns Suspension For Bucks Forward
It's not something you see that often in the NBA, but when a headbutt is used to get a player's point across, it's something that the league office doesn't take lightly.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo has been suspended by the NBA for one game for headbutting Boston Celtics forward Blake Griffin. The lesser-known Antetokounmpo will serve his suspension on Sunday in a big matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The incident occurred with just over a minute left in the Celtics' 41-point blowout of the Bucks on Thursday night. Obviously, frustrations were running high for Milwaukee, and Thanasis just snapped.

Antetokounmpo was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the game. Now it'll cost him one more.
Griffin has been making a habit of getting under opponents' skin lately. On Saturday he laughed in a rival's face for the second straight game.

The 30-year-old older brother of the 2021 Finals MVP Giannis, Thanasis Antetokounmpo is in his fourth year on the Bucks with his little bro, but his usage this season is at an all-time low, as he's earned just 4.2 minutes per game, in 33 contests, scoring less than a point and less than a rebound per game.
