NBA Announce New CBA With Two Massive Inclusions
On top of a fantastic slate of games, headlined by the incredible offensive showdown between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, the NBA had another massive announcement on Friday night, as the league officially agreed to a new CBA, with plenty of interesting points.
Two of the biggest talking points however will be the addition of a massive in-season tournament with major prize money on the line, as well as a 65-game minimum for regular season awards like MVP has been instituted.
It's unclear yet how the mid-season tournament will work, but given the fans desire for basketball, it may not end up being a bad thing, and as for the 65-game minimum, this is something that could certainly encourage players to lessen the load management, but at this point, only time will tell.BREAKING: An “In-Season Tournament and 65-game minimum for postseason awards” has been included in the new CBA, per @wojespn. pic.twitter.com/NaYfjrwU5z
