NBA Rumors: 4 Notable Coaches Linked To Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets are on their way to their second consecutive dead-last finish in the Western Conference, racking up their second straight 60-loss season. Safe to say there hasn't been a lot of improvement this season under head coach Stephen Silas.
That would explain why the vultures are circling, and several notable names have come up as possible successors for the Rockets coaching job.
One rumor that's been making the rounds for some time is that Toronto Raptors championship coach and recent Coach of the Year Nick Nurse will be available and that the Rockets are supremely interested.
Three new names have now been linked to the team, as Houston's ESPN Radio host John Granato suggested another former NBA champion coach, a recent Finalist and a perennial head coach contender are in the Rockets' sites as well.

Ime Udoka is a free agent, after the Boston Celtics have cut ties with him while he was still serving his year-long suspension after leading them to the Finals last season.
Frank Vogel took the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Bubble championship in 2020, and Kenny Atkinson has been a finalist for many a head coaching job in the last few years, as well as leading the Brooklyn Nets for a short time.
With all these rumblings, it certainly appears that Silas is coaching his final three games in Houston over the course of this week.
