2023 NBA Executive Of The Year Winner Announced
The Sacramento Kings were arguably the story of the entire NBA this past season, as they were able to make a push for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, but despite the disappointing playoff finish, they're a team set up to compete at a high level for a number of years.
After Head Coach Mike Brown added a unanimous Coach of the Year Award to their list of honours, General Manager Monte McNair has now been awarded the Executive of the Year Award after building an incredibly talented and fun roster.
McNair beats out the likes of Brad Stevens (Boston), Koby Altman (Cleveland), Calvin Booth (Denver) and Jon Horst (Milwaukee) for the award, and with the leap this team took, it's absolutely the correct decision for a franchise that for the first time in decades looks promising.Kings GM Monte McNair, hours after being named 2022-23 NBA Executive of the Year, chats about the conclusion of the season, the future ahead, decisions to come and the bright future in Sacramento.
