BREAKING: Massive Change For The Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are entering a new era, effective immediately. Leaving a lucrative offer from team owner Joe Lacob on the table, team president and GM Bob Myers has decided to step down.

"It's just time," said Myers, who leaves a gaping hole in the Warriors front office, with a number of key player decisions to be made this summer. The thought in recent days, according to NBA Insider Marc Stein, is that Myers "wouldn't be exiting over money. It's because he wants a break."

Myers built a dynasty in Golden State, holding the GM's post since 2012. The team won four NBA titles under his watch, and still boasts the Big 3 of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

But that's where those huge decisions come in for this offseason. Green has a player option for this summer, and Thompson is eligible for an extension with his contract set to expire in 2024.

You can now add finding a new GM and team president to that massive to-do list.
