Memphis Grizzlies Won't Be Re-Signing Trash Talking Forward

The Memphis Grizzlies came into the 2022/23 NBA season full of confidence that they could build on their promising campaign the year before, but unfortunately, all the trash talk and optimism couldn't carry them past the Los Angeles Lakers in the first-round.

One of the main reasons for this Grizzlies squad becoming a villain in the Western Conference is pending free agent Dillon Brooks, and after an underwhelming finish to the season, the team have officially informed him that he won't be re-signed when free agency begins.

There were reportedly talks between the two sides early in the season, but after those talks broke down, it became clear that Memphis didn't want Brooks back, and with his antics in the playoffs, it's no doubt the smartest move the Grizzlies could make.
