NBA Rumors: Key Boston Celtics Player Dealing With Big Time Injury
The Boston Celtics picked up a huge win in Game 4, keeping their NBA Championship hopes alive as they look to fight back from an 0-3 hole against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, and even with many believing they have the better team, they've just struggled for consistent effort all series long.
While you can hardly blame the Celtics struggles on this, it has now been revealed that NBA Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon has been playing through a partial tear in the tendon near his right elbow, leading into his forearm, which could be incredibly painful.
Throughout the year, Brogdon was the most impactful player in the league off the bench, but in this series, he has scored 0 and 2 points in the last two games, so if the Celtics are going to fight back and overcome history and the Heat, they need him to fight through the pain in a big way.Malcolm Brogdon has been playing through a partial tear in the tendon coming out of his right elbow that leads into his forearm, per @JaredWeissNBA pic.twitter.com/jPyC5ghD7F
