NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Could Target Top Eastern Conference Point Guard This Off-Season

 

Despite their poor end to the 2023 season, as they were swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, but the Los Angeles Lakers had a great season, and with a solid roster, they have a good chance at running it back next year, especially if they can ace this off-season.

Like most off-seasons, the Lakers will be linked to many players around the league, but yesterday, Shams Charania linked them to a surprising name, as he revealed that Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet could be at the top of the available options for them.

While VanVleet isn't a star on the level of Kyrie Irving, he would no doubt be a solid addition to this team, especially as a scoring threat, something they've lacked at times at point guard, and if Toronto are possibly looking towards a rebuild, moving him now would be the best option.
