NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Gearing Up To Make A Run At Superstar Guard
While the Los Angeles Lakers aren't quite done yet, they are facing a 3-0 deficit to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, and if they do fail, 2024 could be their final chance to make a run at a second NBA Championship in the LeBron James era.
That means whatever happens in this series, this off-season is beyond critical to the future of this organization, and now, not only are they confident they can keep Austin Reaves, but it appears the Lakers are once again gearing up to make a run at former James teammate, Kyrie Irving.
With the trio of Irving, James and Anthony Davis, this would again be one of the best teams in the entire NBA, and Brian Windhorst admits it would take a bit of maneuvering to make it happen, it could give them their best chance at another NBA title."It would take a little bit of maneuvering... but [The Lakers] can get there. They can keep [Austin] Reaves & get Kyrie [Irving]... The way this is ending, it's increasing the chances of it happening."
