NBA Rumors: Minnesota Timberwolves Shifting Their Team Building Mentality
Last off-season, the Minnesota Timberwolves made the shocking decision to trade five first-round picks and several players to the Utah Jazz in return for superstar defensive center Rudy Gobert, and while they were able to make a play-in push, it's clear that way of building isn't going to work.
Unsurprisingly, it has now been reported that the teams priority has completely shifted, as the organization is now doing what they should have been doing from the beginning, and that's building around budding superstar Anthony Edwards following an incredible playoff performance against the Denver Nuggets.
With limited picks and money now tied up in both Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, it's tough to see how Minnesota will proceed going forward, but they have one of the best assets in the NBA, and it's clear they are now looking to build around him.The Timberwolves’ priority has shifted heading into this summer and beyond.

Whatever decisions are made, the focus starts with Anthony Edwards.
