NBA Rumors: Orlando Magic Likely To Move On From Injury Prone Forward

The Orlando Magic may have continued their overall struggles in 2023, but with a fun young core, the future is certainly bright for the Magic, but unfortunately for them, one of their biggest draft moves in recent years may finally be done with the team. 

That would be Jonathan Isaac, a former No. 7 overall pick who has had some of the worst injury luck in NBA history in his time with the Magic, and after expecting a bounce back year in 2023, he just couldn't stay healthy, appearing in only 11 games.

Now, with a core of Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs and Markelle Fultz, the team is preparing to move on from Isaac this off-season, and while it makes plenty of sense given his injury history, the hope is that he can get past that and find success with another team going forward.
